50 States, 50 Wineries, and One Crazy Idea - Wine Tasting across America

It all started sitting on the patio one evening, glass of wine in hand, Mrs. Kay by my side, and a casual comment came from the TV that changed everything: "You know there are wine producers in all 50 states, right?"

The gears started turning. Mrs. Kay, a proud daughter of the Grand Canyon State, had always dreamed of a cross-country road trip. Me? Well, let's just say a childhood spent moving from state to state with my Naval trained father allowed me to see most of the country at a young age. I took the cue and asked Mrs. Kay if she would be up to trying visiting a winery, and having a wine tasting, in every state. Suddenly, we had our mission: a 50-state wine odyssey, documented for posterity (and our own amusement) on YouTube.

"How hard could it be?" I proclaimed, perhaps a bit too confidently (Mrs. Kay would certainly agree). Grab a camera, some gear, and hit the road! We decided to start with a test run in our home state of Arizona, a warm-up before the main event.

Smooth sailing, right? Wrong!

Oh boy, and that first video was here...minus all the mess ups that got me through to my first posting.
